View Full Version : How to change GPT to MBR with only one internal hdd in g75

My laptop is g75vw-rs72 and i want to clean install.However ,my hdd is 750gb and no extra ssd .I have external hdd but it is connected to my laptop with usb and i cannot format it from bios because usb's arent working before windows open.There is only disk 0 in command prompt or disk management so i cant try to mbr.What can i do? :(:(:(:(:(

You can convert it to MBR with a program called "Aomei Dynamic Disk Manager" from Aomei Technology.
It makes the conversion from the windows enviroment, and do it without dataloss.
Just remember to check the boot settings in bios, otherwise You might get the following error:
Bootmgr is missing
Press ctrl-alt-del to restart.
If You get the error, then change boot settings in bios.
I've been there, and done that, so good luck.........
