Should check Intel's site for updated chipset drivers.

Unfortunately, Intel's page is not very helpful when trying to find the newest updates for my chipset. The automatic detection utility has completely missed some RST updates.

There is really no need to update chipset drivers unless you have specific problems. Actually 'chipset driver' is a basic term that refers to an all-in-one INF file that contains configuration info related to south/north bridge components such as USB controllers, system devices, ports etc...All the drivers are actually provided by Windows and no .sys file is installed on INF installation. Intel RST is a seperate driver for AHCI/RAID purposes and it's not mandatory on Windows 7 as it have bullt-in support.
