It says it is discontinued on newegg.com!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230409

Are there any other place that I can purchase it??

If I cannot get asus g75vw-ns72, then which is the next best thing?

Which is the best laptop I can get besides the asus g75vw-ns72?

I do not want any 3d models
I do not care about hard drive space.
I want ram, speed, and graphics.

Which one can you recommend to me?

Thank you

The RS72 is probably the closest model to the NS72. Single 750GB HDD, 1080p 2D screen, GeForce 670m.

Seems to fit your bill if you get one that works.

What do you mean if I get one that works?

Does RS72 break down easily?

What is MHZ? What is the difference between 1333MHz and 1600MHZ?

How can a computer have two types of GHZ? Is the computer 2.60GHZ or 3.60GHZ? Example: Processor: Intel i7-3720QM 2.60 Ghz (x 8 threads) | 3.60 GHz (x 4 Threads) | 6 MB L3 Cache | 45 Watts

Thank you if you can help me get the questions answered!

I am new to computer specs and stuff!

I never had a gaming laptop!

all my life I never bought laptop worth more than 400 dollars!

FYI, I bought an Asus G75VW-NS72 from Newegg during labor day weekend sales because I figured they would be switching
to Windows 8 after that. I wanted Windows 7 installed with option to upgrade to Windows 8 because most
of my existing software runs on Windows 7 not Windows 8.

In October (beginning of Xmas shopping season) vendors will start releasing PC/laptops with Windows 8 installed
so you probably won't see the Asus G75VW-NS72 configuration with Win7 again. But they will probably install Windows 8 on
the same hardware configuration and just assign it a new model number. Remember the model numbers like DS72, NS72, RS72,
are made up by the vendors not Asus. Some vendors try to use the same model numbers but sometimes they try to
use different numbers to reduce price comparisons.
