I'm trying to configure my new G55VW-S1084V to dual boot XP (pro, sp3) along with the pre-installed windows 7. The issue is that I can't get the XP installer to boot from the disc - I just end up with a blue screen, from what I've read on the forums my understanding is that XP needs AHCI SATA drivers to install. Slipstreaming them with nlite won't be an issue, the problem is I can't for the life of me track down the correct drivers I should be using.

Does anyone know which AHCI drivers I need? Or even how to find which ones I need?

Thanks heaps in advance to anyone who can give me a pointer.

Why don't you just set up Win XP in a virtual machine?

Yeah, I tried set one up with VMWare player but it seemed to take a bit of a performance hit. I'd rather go for the dual-boot option... if I can track down these drivers that is.
