hi guys

I've tried searching the forums for this issue because I had thought I had seen it here somewhere but was unable to locate the thread. My apologies if I may have overlooked it.

Here's my issue: I have my headset plugged in, say I'm watching a youtube video, sound is playing through my headphones, if i pause my youtube video for say 3-5 minutes, then when i unpause the video, the sound will resume but not through my headphones but through the speakers. To switch back to headphones, I just adjust the volume (up or down, doesn't matter) and sound goes back to playing through my headphones.

Is there a way to stop the sound from switching between the headphones and speakers?

I am currently using Via Audio Driver v6.0.10500. Is this a known issue with the g75's ? Is this a problem with my drivers?

Thank you

What headphones are you using? Have you tried the 10800a? - there's a link in the stickied threads in the forums.

DFox, I had the same exact problem. I found a fix. Hope you enjoy.

First uninstall your current VIA HD Audio Deck.
Download THIS (http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/via/audio/via_hd_audio_6.0.01.10900(www.station-drivers.com).exe) and install it. It's the version 10900

Hi Marshall!

I am using a pair of Sennheiser PC151's. I went to the link (stations-drivers.com) and I only see VIA HD Audio Codec 6.0.01.10900. I'll give that a shot.
