Hey guys I just got my G75 about a week ago but immediately noticed some problems.
With any streaming videos (youtube, vimeo, facebook video, etc), I get that tri-color overlapping effect which is obviously for 3D. I did my research and messed around with various settings in the nvidia control panel. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers cleanly. I unchecked the 3D vision drivers from the installation and everything but the problem is still there.

I also found something a bit strange. Focusing primarily on Youtube, the discoloration only appears at 360p and 720p settings. [240p, 480p, 1020p, and any setting at full screen does not have the discoloration.]

I've disabled the 3D vision addon for firefox, reinstalled flash player, and tested using a couple other internet browsers(IE9, Opera, and Safari).

Also, I am not sure if this problem is due to the video drivers but at random intervals, the videos just cut off, the video track bar starts chopping by 20% to the end and ends. I know this is not due to my network speed. I get about 30Mbps down.

At this point, I'm kind of at a loss of what to do. Pretty much all I haven't tried yet is a reformat which I am keeping as a last resort option.

My model number is G75VW-FS71. It's the one with 16 gigs of ram and the gtx670m.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue on my desktop as well (680,i7, ASUS 3D monitor)

There used to be a workaround on the NVIDIA forum but since the hack I haven't been able to access it properly.

I'll do some digging to see if I can find anything out

I had a problem similar to yours, a green stripe in the low part of the video. It only occured with Firefox and when the video ran lower than 480p. If I remember good, the problem went off by turning hardware acceleration off in the player menu. I'm not sure though because I tried to cancel that stripe with any possible means!

I had the same greem stripe and blurry video on Youtube with the newest video driver on the Asus site.

I reverted back to the original driver and the problem went away.

It is as if it is tryng to display the 3D info even though I don't have a 3D system.

I would like to know if anyone is noticing this with the newest drivers on the Nvidia site.
