Nvidia has announced new GPU line up for gtx 670mx and 675mx which is 28nm technology + lower consume.

When these GPU has released, Asus G75 will put it these?? or upgradable to previous G75 which has gtx660m and 670m currently.

GTX 670MX. Its the same as the GTX 660m in terms of it being a kepler and the new GTX 670MX should preform on par with a GTX 675M. at stock clocks.

Side note pushing 960 shaders if it does overclock anything like the GTX 660m then its going to beat the GTX 670m and 675m to a bloody pulp and should be a direct upgrade for the G75's with keplers however those with fermi may have to buy the heatsink. I wont know till i get one i should have a Asus GTX 670MX here in a week and i'll slap it in my G75 and see how it runs and note if it requires its own heatsink or if the one off the 660m or 670m will fit.

First look seems like 670MX already is better than 670M. It might OC to new 675MX, I don't think there will be another 660M anytime soon.

Yes, but a LOT of detailed info on the chips here:
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-675MX.82580.0.html
And at other locations, e.g. anadtech, etc.

Given there is a lot of detailed information on these chips, it makes sense for people to speculate on how they might relate to the Asus G75, and or to ask if the connections are similar, if it might be possible to upgrade, etc. etc.

Here are my thoughts /blatant speculations.
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?23435-G75VX-T4020H-i7-3630QM-GTX670MX-3GB&country=&status=

That thread has some info, that may or may not be true. We DO know Asus has some tech support documents for a G75VX on their website right now, but no details on specs. Notebook check has a write up / specs on new video cards GTX670mx, and GTX675mx. We also know Windows 8 is coming out this month. MY OWN observation is that some retailers seem to be running out of supplies of gaming notebooks (not just Asus). Fewer best buys near me, for example, have a G75VW in stock. Could be the market I'm in.

SO, new model G75vx, windows 8 is coming, and there are new video cards.

ALSO there are CLEVO companies advertising CLEVO notebooks with the new video cards available at the end of this month.

Asus design philosophy has been cheap and cool, often foregoing the most powerful video cards that are hot and expensive. While more powerful, the new MX cards don't seem to need any more power than the current 670M in the G75, so it seems reasonable that at SOME TIME, Asus will add a GTX 670MX at least.

MY RECOMMENDATION, even if based ONLY on Win8 coming later this month, is to wait until the end of the month to purchase something, if you can. Yes, you can get win8 as a $15 upgrade, etc. but, I just think its cleaner to wait 3 weeks and get win8 already installed with drivers and everything for the comp you're purchasing.

A COUNTER to that recommendation is if you could get a current Win7 machine "on sale cheap" as stores make room for the win8 / new models. SO FAR, I haven't seen such sales, YMMV, but, it might be worthwhile to wait and see if prices drop just prior to win8. My guess is there won't be large scale price drops, but, that's just a guess.

MY SPECULATION is that there will be a new Asus, likely with one of the new MX cards, available by the end of the month or early November. Certainly the Clevo's are already taking orders. So, by waiting until later this month, you get an easier windows experience with win8, and, MIGHT have more Asus options.

Right now, I don't think any manufacture is going to sell windows 8 machines much before the win8 launch, so, I would expect to NOT be able to get a new Asus with the MX model until AT LEAST the win8 date. It just doesn't make sense to me that Asus or anyone else would release a brand new model with win7 installed and then have to rerelease it 2 weeks later for win8. Of course, manufactuers do things that don't make sense to me all the time. :)

I need a new comp. World of Warcraft MOP expansion just came out, and, my FPS are lower than what I would like. I need a new comp. I plan to wait until the end of the month, if only to be able to choose win8 preinstalled on whatever notebook I get. I HOPE to get a $1550 priced Asus G75VX with a GTX 675MX video card (hope). The MSI has super raid Msata drives + GTX 680M for $2200, so if the Asus is priced too high, I'll probably go that route, but I'm hoping for a 675mx asus for 1500ish usd. :)

Good luck!
