Hello Brian.http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/personal/hi.gif
Thank you so much for your just as well same good videos.http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/thank_you2.gif

I order this graphic card for a couple of days ago and planing to run it together with 2 ASUS ROG MATRIX HD 5870 PLATINUM as a nVidia Cuda & PhysX card.

Looking forward to your next presentation.

Wolf this card is way over kill for a PhysX card.
Not to mention it can not be used as PhysX card when you have the 5870 card installed. Nvidia drivers will automatically disable PhysX function when a none Nvidia GPU is detected.

Nice informative video , as always with GG, that's make Asus outstanding over competition, We are well inform with you guys, it bring me a question, I notice many manufacturers don't use heat sink on memory chips, is that the new memory chips run cooler and it's not worth anymore ?

You don't really need cooling on newer DDR5 chips, they run at a lower voltage and if you passively cool them there just fine.

Dear Six Foot Ginger!

With all respect, overkill is a word that doesn't exists in my vocabulary, and that has to do with my way to see things. Course if I like to do something and have the opportunity to do so , I go for it.

I rather grow in to things, the grow out of it.

Regarding the possibility to combine nVidia graphic card with my 2 ASUS ROG MATRIX HD 5870 PLATINUM, why see it as a hurdle when so many have proven that it can be done.

NVIDIA Card running CUDA & PhysX wit AMD (ATI) cards can be done with modified drivers in Windows 7 x64.

Just Google "Dedicated NVIDIA CUDA & PhysX card with 2 AMD/ATI cards" and you come across abundance of suggestions/solutions in ways to deal and salve the issues.

I could never have built the The High Performance Harley-Davidson 1530cc Chopper (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.199261826789573.46646.100001172713309&l=585a1bc106) as I did if I allow me to be affected by negative thoughts. I had a dream in the age of 12, and by age of 27 I fulfilled it by one goal only, and that was to build me a High Performance Harley-Davidson Chopper.

I rather go for the solutions and die trying, than die without the knowledge.

By this, I thank you very much and wish you all the best for future to come.

Sincerely Yours, Bengt "WOLF" Johansson.

Six Foot Ginger!

Don't act so naive and patronizing.

If you are a ROG GURU and act like that, the criteria ASUS ROG's must be very insufficient to become that.

ASUS ROG might even lose some customer along the line with that refutation.

I'm 57 years old handyman that have a long time experience in a great deal of areas.

So next time, show some respect and self dignity.

I'm not the one out of line here, if anyone needs to show some respect, its you.

You Come in here and troll with your life story, if it makes you feel better more power to you.

I was trying to help you out, I have heard of people having nothing but, issues with the Nvidia/AMD card mix.

One work around for this is Intel's Z68 And Virtu GPU Visualization, this would solve your problem.

07-11-2011, 01:59 AM
"hacked drivers good luck..." is not to help! That just say more about you then me.

To not mention the rest of your statement that uncover the essence of your insignificant and self-denyingly state of mind.

What I presents in here as you refer to as "my life story" does NOT excuse your behavior, one persons behavior does not exclude the others. If that was so, we are back at the stone age in state of our minds.

Regarding whats on the market I read news and reviews everyday since I have lot's of them as RSS course of my interests in computer hardware technology.
I also been working as a computer technician in both domestic and international company's as well as helping many friends with their computer problems.

Concerning the Intel Z68 chipset, I'm not interested in that (even doe it is with integrated Lucidlogix Virtu GPU Virtualization Software (http://www.lucidlogix.com/download/PR_Lucid_Intel%20Availability100511.pdf)) since I'm waiting for Intel X79 Express Chipset as well as ASUS ROG Danshui Bay Concept Motherboard to enter the market.

Whats really interested me and as I have mention on ASUS ROG FaceBook is a LGA LGA1366 / LGA2011 motherboard with Lucid’s HydraLogix 200 Engine (http://www.lucidlogix.com/products_hydra200.html) (LT24102 (http://www.lucidlogix.com/product_hyrda200-LT24102.html)) as open up for multiple GPU manufacturer combined.

By this I see our conversation has come to the end and that is no more to add in form of substantially matter.

Thank You.

Regards, WOLF.

Hi MarkedOne.

ASUS-ROG BFBC2 Server of Mature Gamers! http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/yes.gif

lol wolf

If i offended you, my apologies.
In the context of an American society, I don't think anything I said was considered offensive, intrusive or inaccurate.
I would also venture to believe that most people here would agree with me. (any one any one)

Try being a little less brash and uptight, you will go further that way.

07-11-2011, 03:20 AM
First you apology, then you try to learn me how to live!? That is what I call a contradiction.

I don't think you have anything to learn me and regarding the American society, it's none of my business since I'm Swedish and have no plans to visit or move to USA.

Regarding your "ASUS ROG support club" I don't care at all since I'm a independent person with self insight and in no need of anyone to assist me in this matter whats so ever.

How far I go in life is none of YOUR business, but since it obviously has a psychological impact on you I can ease you with that I have gone as far I want and have no further interests of progress.

I'm in peace with me and my life and by that no need for anything ambitious.

As I said, there is no substance for further development in this matter.

WOLF, over and out!

Have no comment to such naive expression.

That might be something for your generation, but surely not mine.

Hi MarkedOne.

I buy that mate :-)

to my knowledge nvidia reenabled the physx patch in beta drivers to allow physx to work with amd cards. there are patches and hacked drivers that will make it work.
