Hey guys,

So when i visited mall of america at minneapolis, i saw the microsoft store. They had the samsung gamer series laptop. I can't believe how similar it is to the g75. I was kind of shocked. The dual vents at the back look identical. The samsung had the same angled ergonomic look as well. Kinda makes me sad that samsung copied the g75. O well. Hope asus comes up with a sick model one day that no one can steal from.

Sorry about the rant,

I love my g75 too much lol

since asus makes a lot components for other company's i would not be surprised if they assembled it.

We did not.

I also suggest you don't look at Samsung's "new" Transformer-like tablets as well. Gee I wonder where they got the inspiration there?

LOL To be fair... They aren't the only ones coming out with a "transformer" tablet these days... Just wonder how long before a certain fruity manufacturer tries to get a patent on the design and takes everyone to court... :P

Didnt Samsung also do this with Galaxy S phones lol... I am not trolling... but I think this is how Samsung does business now a days.... Zynga game style... no reason to innovate just duplicate at a very high pro level and enjoy endless cash.

Sounds 'green' to me.
Find what works and make it better. hahaha
A billion dollar line drawing ??? hahhaha fair ?? hahhaha

".. no reason to innovate just duplicate at a very high pro level and enjoy endless cash."
imho. 'innovate' a 'highER PRO level' and just dominate.

PadPhone2 ? Nice. (GalaxyNote2? Tab2 10.1?)
I'd take the PadPhone2 over the Samsung, if it were available .. but I support Asus.(so, of course.)
TaiChi beats Transformer and Samsung(s)Pads ..

GrandPa Apple .. well, maybe next year. (ConsumerRapists.imho.CourtAbusers/as Intel)
(im sick of apple can do this, apple can do that .. no they can't .. they price themselves
out of the market .. sorry .. different rant. )
I would go back to two tin cans and a string before I would $$$ an iphone.
(Same with Intel-I dislike market manipulation .. dripping out innovation, milking consumers)
**This is just my own personal opinion .. not to offend any.

As far as copying a G ... hahhahaha .. Bring it.
Only a ROG ROGs.c.

Funny thing is they made like 7.3 billion on the Galaxy SIII (I'm sure way more now) and have to pay apple only 1 billion.

I am sure this is chalked up to cost of doing big business... even though I am sure they are livid over the loss and people got fired... it's all still win on the bottom line.

About all that can stop high end duplication of other high end products is product injunctions to block resale of those products in specific big markets and slowly bleed them out.

With as much time as giant law suits take (1+ years sometimes) an electronic generation cycle has already passed and Sammy gets to enjoy all the free publicity of the law suit the entire year + profit of sales on that product in question and could easily handle a loss or injunction on their old product... the following year reset to the next generation and do it all over again.

When a corporation is big enough and rich enough you can do whatever you want it seems. This has been happening since the start of the industrial revolution with Vanderbilt.

Oh yeah no doubt.

I'm actually with Samsung on the lawsuit.

The biased jury head pretty much ruined Apple's case imo

Salute. Samsung has filed a counter suit in the same amount, and has announced plans
to release iv .. and then v and then ... hahhahaa
apple will have to wear out paper faster than samsung can change the number on the front of
virtually the same 'piece' ... hahhaha .. tickles me really.
as to the samsung gamer series and the G ??? still .. hahahhahahaha
let's be serious .. ROG will just take it up a level or three ..
and .. i think it encourages the entire market ... condenses the 5 year plan .. tick, tick.10.

afterall .. really .. where would apple be without Samsung ?? processors, screens .. ect .. ect ...
Samsung is very aggressive and didnt make the mistake AMD did by overextending itself with ATI ..
both very bold moves .. if they can pull it off... yet to be seen .. but promising.

Meanwhile I see Asus .. not looking over their shoulder .. just moving forward.
A joy to behold unfold.c.
