Hey all, I just RMAed my laptop.

The laptop in question is an Asus G75 VW 1086.

How will I be notified when my Laptop is fixed?

P.S.: I live in the Netherlands.

How and where did you RMA your laptop and to whom ???
Is this a 'retail' RMA ??
Or an Asus RMA ??
If the later, then you probably either did it through http://vip.asus.com (the official support site-ROG is Member/Asus Sponsored)
Have you registered yet @ VIP.Asus.com ? Whatever are you waiting for, if not ???

Or, you called from your warranty information.
Was there email communication .. ie .. shipping information, labels .. RMA Number ??
.. or was it all by phone ??
A little more information so we can maybe help you please.

We usually point to and suggest Private Messegeing @cl-scott
he is The 'go to RMA guy' to ask in 'here'. He is based in the U.S. but if you run into a snag he usually
points members in the right direction .. whenever possible... hey I like that, I wonder if he would
mind me calling him ScottPossible ?? .. niceRingggg.. yikes, I wonder if Kim would mind ???
So far, your RMA is flawless .. hehe .. may it continue to be so .. but, 'if a snag', sometimes happens.

The short answer to your question I guess is, how were you 'notified' before of the authorization .. ect .. ??

So you RMAed the "tortoise" , hope all works out for you.
Just remember to burn the "AI Recovery Set" first thing when you get your laptop back.
you will need to update the AI Recovery first too,

(some older versions don't support GPT drives)

If you joined the "Asus VIP Member" site , and registered you RMA there you will be notified by the site, and by you personal E-mail.

If you RMAed via Phone, you gave them all your infomation, and E-mail there.
you will be notified by E-mail. or you can check on the status via the phone number they gave you.

I would join the Asus VIP Member if I was you.

I RMAed it via asus.nl/rma and called them before I did, it got picked up today and is on it's way for repair.
