Well i can see 2 gigantic vents at the back , yet only one of them has air coming out, the other is doing literally nothing, and when i look at it it looks like the vent is closed, do i have to manually open it? or is it just cosmetic ?

i'm playing a game and the heat from the laptop is literally giving me a fever, gets so hot

Can it be from my graphics? needs updating? ( There is an available update to the graphics card ) but if it's working fine, and it's not the cause, i don't want to mess with it.

It's cosmetic... The 2 fan exhausts combine to blow across a single radiator unit to save weight and retain cooling efficiency. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9reQvIxQvGQ at time 3:20 for a shot of the CPU and GPU heat sinks with copper tubing leading into each end of the radiator. At time 3:06 you can see how the radiator and combined single fan exhaust is offset to the right side of the laptop.

Load up HWINFO64 to check your idle and gaming CPU/GPU temperatures and Fan speeds.

Thanks dstrakele

i did, and it said all cores " thermon " is ok , cant spot where temeperatures or fan speeds are . Though i don't think this amount of heat is normal :(

You want to look at the "Sensors" dialog for temperatures and fan speeds. See http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?25130-G53SX-fans-blowing-at-100-capacity&p=183344&viewfull=1#post183344 for a screenshot of this dialog.

Tell us your CPU and GPU temps in Celsius at idle (no other applications running) and while gaming (or when you believe the temperatures are abnormal) .

Your laptop temperatures and Fan speeds are good. Take some aspirin for your fever and call me in the morning...
