Will be available on Steam in 8 days...it is a demanding game but should be good on High settings not on Ultra though.

it uses crytec engine if i'm not mistaken,

We will see...

Yea man dont worry about it. If anything with an overclock the G75 can handle pretty much everything in ultra or high :)

@Sqnkov: Hitman absolution is sickkkk lol i managed to get it running on ultra 1080p over 30fps :D looks awesome

bulls**t, Getting extreme low fps with medium/low settings. What is wrong, I have the latest beta nvidia drivers, directx updated.

It's all about knowing what to crank up and what to crank down on game settings to get best look and best peformance.

example:
Shadow quality is always one of my 1st go to settings to reduce.

Texture quality is always one of my 1st go to settings to max out.

I tried everything, no luck. the resolution affect performance a lot, can't play in 1080... :(

You talkin about hitman? I am also playin that game right now on the g75 with nice settings and good performance (@ 1920x1080).

Make sure you set the primary AA lower... AA is also a huge factor on performance on games.

The only 2 things I never touch is game textures and resolution.. since these are the 2 basic things I always want maxed out...these 2 things makes games look great.

Resolution definitely has a huge effect on performance, but you want the game to look sharp, so I do not go lower than 1080.

Try MSAA x2
Shadow very low
SSAO normal
level of detail medium
depth of field low
FXAA (check)
Tessellation(check)
Global Illumination (no check)
texture high
reflection high
texture filter 16x

I haven't spent a ton of time tweaking settings on this game yet.. but this gets me 30+ fps and game looks awesome at 1080
I am sure these settings could be optimized further... but start here and tweak.

You can likely trade off AA levels for other bells and whistls to regain frame rate when other stuff drops it.

The game lets you play in DX9.

Just do that.

Same question as the the thread starter... but with and older version, the G53SX SZ061V... I would be happy if it even runs it on low :P Cause in this game low still has to be good graphics haha

Btw, I don't have an SSD and I only have 12GB of RAM. The SSD will increase the performance a lot? Thank you.

SSD doesn't increase performance for most games. All it does is decrease the loading time.

Have anyone played farcry or hitman on gtx 660m? How many fps you got on wiat settings?

Would probably help if you made a new thread on how the new Hitman performs on the G75s. Seeing as how people check out this thread to get information on Farcry 3.

My guess? Not too well. I beat it on the Xbox, and if you liked the older Hitman games you're not gonna like this one. That's all.

Well I am running FC3 on a Asus G74 and I can tell you even with the new beta drivers, running in 1920X1080 , DX9 with everything on high except shadows, that I only get 25-35 fps! There needs to be some seriously optmization done by Nvidia or Ubisoft because this is kinda rough considering I can play other new games like DIshonored and get 60+fps constant with everything on Max or even Skyrim on ULTRA settings and a constant 45-90 fps which has an ever larger game world!

If you visit the Ubisoft FC3 forums you will see hundreds of 'This game runs like @Q@^^! on my Brand new 3000 rig' posts so hangin there, hopefully future patches and driver updates may help?

Btw the new 310 beta driver game me a grand total of 2 extra FPS... astonishing I know!

Is it better to run FC3 on DX9 on very high/ultra, or on DX11 on high, in terms of look/performance? I took a couple of screenshots, and honestly, could not tell that much difference between the two (screenshots taken at the same visual settings for both though...)

on my G74sx, no probs DX11, 1080p, v-syns 1 frame, MSAA off, HBAO, Video quality: shadows low, post FX medium, the other everything HIGH, 33-40 FPS, no OC. Drivers Nvidia 285.62
