So as far as I know, all the display ports on the g75 are for output only, and I would really like to connect my Xbox 360 with my new laptop, so I could play other games on it aswell. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is there any specific adapter or anything that would match with the g75? Especially since the laptop itself doesn't seem to have a video input that would go with the Xbox.

Anyone out there who has played their PS3/Xbox on their laptop? Please share if you have!

Thanks.

haha I thought the same thing when I saw the title of this post. If you're a console gamer don't buy a gaming laptop >_< a cheap 32' HD tv is ~200 bucks on sale, vs 1400+ for the G75 haha

Only the Alienware M17x R4 has the HDMI input that allows playing games using the M17x monitor for PS3, Xbox 360 etc..

It's possible, but you'll need some additional hardware. See http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?25396-Help-with-viewing-XBox-360-through-my-G75VW-NoteBook-Please.

Have you tried the Xbox smart glass? I don't really know how it works, but I think it is meant for that kind of stuff.
