Did anyone ever try to see how a G75 would stack up to the original Final Fantasy XIV? Or at least ran the benchmark? I know the old version was very taxing and needed a beefy rig to run it well. The 2.0 version coming soon is supposedly coded a whole lot better and be far easier and smoother to run. Getting mine here in a week or so!

The G75 will do just fine. I ran FF14 on my old desktop perfect with my 8800GT. That being said the new FF14 2.0 is shaping up damn good.
I have a buddy in the Alpha and he says its a whole new game and that combat / healing / tanking feels so smooth and the areas look amazing.

The new team is making all the difference :p

Thanks for the reply. Great to hear! I'm so stoked to see all the new changes. I can't do Alpha since I wasn't a previous subscriber, but I'll def be applying for the Beta.

The 660m/670m should be anywhere between Standard and Fairly high.

Hopefully the new client will resolve the issues FFXIV had prior

Thanks for the informative post, shawn. Would anyone care to run the benchmark with the G75 along with your specs/OC'd or not?
