Hi to all,
just letting you know that my asus screen just joined the ****list. Outstanding laptop - horrific built quality in some details. The price tag of this machine leaves no room for error or excuses.

the problem is what looks to be some pixels leaking into each other, thereby making a blur, or dead pixels or stuck pixels.
he does not make it, most likely he is display a white picture and using a camera with a great zoom function.
I myself just use a dvd drives optical lense against my camera, makes it zoom very well, without distorting th epicture.

I have dead pixels just like that, I don't think they have a G75VW without screen issues.... Why is ASUS so incompetent?

Well then incompetent Best buy?

All the G series xxxx-BBxx series units we've ever had to service for customers have been of lesser quality vs the 'actual' models.

Not that the other sku's are 100% defect free (Nothing is) but it seems that the Best Buy units are the worst.

That would be a guess, but.. I am from Europe. Mine is a legit G75VW

In your case i'd swap it for another if you are still in your returns period.

It looks like some damaged /stuck pixels those can occur at any time really and may have even been due to rough shipping.

Well I hope the warranty can provide such option... because here in my country (Bulgaria) there is always "authorized service" first and then excuses. I just read the warranty and it says that it covers damages of that sort (black pixels - 4 to 6 of them) if they are in the range of a 1.5 mm diameter... and mine are like just in the middle of that diameter.
