Thanks for the info, but why they lower the resolution to 1600x900 and FHD for the 3D version.

That's weird. All my stores say that it's 1920x1080 resolution.

The page also mentions nothing about thunderbolt?

Marshall thanks for the info but could you please fix those mistakes in the specifications already:

1. Non 3D screen also could have FHD resolution (mine for example).
2. Mention the thunderbolt in it (most people only read specifications when it comes to this class of laptop)

And the sad thing is that we already discussed those in another topic...

Hey Marshall I bought an Asus g75vx last weekend. I but I can't install nvidia graphics drivers, can only use the graphics drivers that came with the laptop. Why did Asus decide to do that for the vx when all the vws can still use nvidia drivers? I wish to use the latest but the Asus one is only 306.xx how often will Asus release graphics drivers?

I don't know about USA and other countries, but this is what we get in AUS http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?23782-Coming-Soon-G75VX&p=197569&viewfull=1#post197569

I guess every model has its own different features.
