Hi, i buy older model of Asus G73JH with i5 M430 and ati 5870. I already change memory from 4GB to 8GB, add one SSD. So next move is first to change CPU, so can i normaly just order cpu like i7-740QM and take this older one out and put this in? Without change anything about coolers and etc.? If yes, can u give me advice which is best cpu to put with 4 cores inside normaly? I use laptop for gaming only.

And other question is about GPU. I have ATI 5870 inside, which GPU can i put better? Any link where to find it, im from Europe so if i order from other i need shipping.

Thank you, and sry on my bad English!

Basically,NB series product deesn't suggest to change or upgrade the CPU and graphic card...
Very likely, BIOS doesn't support and cause can't to boot or system unstable

Yes, you could install a 740qm. I think the fastest it will support is an 840QM but I don't think that's worth the money.

I got free 740QM from another laptop, thats why i want to install it, so i can just dissasemble and get out i5 and put this i7 and paste and that's it? Nothing to work with coolers and etc?
