I bought it yesterday and it's been running fast and no issues at all. I just want to ask some questions so I understand everything about the laptop features and windows 8 itself.

1. The sound is pretty good and loud, but it sounds like it's coming from the left side only. Maybe they'll fix this in the future updates?
2. What's this "Instant On" that comes with the laptop? It has its own gadget as well.
3. I don't know what this "ASUS Fan Filter Checker" is, it has no options besides showing me hours.
4. It came with Adobe Reader X MUI that's 440mb... far as I know Adobe Reader is only 40mb.
5. Can someone link me to a cpu unparking tutorial? also I want to try to overclock my gpu.
6. Any tips for Windows 8? features and optimizing etc.

1. g75vx sound - related thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?26906-Sound-of-G75-VX)
2. Instant On - related thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?22506-Trying-to-better-understand-Instant-On)
3. ASUS Fan Filter Checker - related thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?26936-ASUS-Fan-Filter-Checker)
4. Adobe Reader X MUI - MUI, as in "multilingual user interface", means the package installed on your system has multiple language support. compared to the Adobe Reader in a single language, it is supposed to be much larger in size.
5. cpu unparking tutorial and overclocking gpu - there is no need to do cpu unparking by default. about gpu overclocking, please do some leg work :/ (in case you find the search function not working properly, try google: type "site:rog.asus.com gpu overclocking g75" without quotes)
6. tips for Windows 8 - again, i think it's better to use google to look for more comprehensive tutorials. i just do some basic ssd optimizations (http://thessdreview.com/ssd-guides/optimization-guides/the-ssd-optimization-guide-2/), and that's all i need.
