My Asus G73JH has randomly monitor Black Screens. I mean the BS comes really randomly.
I checked the temperatures of the GPU when the Black Screen occured but it was always different. Sometimes it occures immediately after booting.

The Black Screen is just on the Monitor of the Notebook. Meanwhile i can work with the extern monitor where nothing changes.

I already did an RMA because the Screen did never come back. They replaced the fans and the thermal paste. They thought it was a temperature failure of the graphic card but i think it's a loose connection from the monitor to the mainboard because today the screen didn't just turn black and remained steady, it turned on and off and on till i closed the monitor and opened it again.

Do you think it is a loose connection or whatelse could it be?

Yep - if the laptop display is black, but all is normal on the external monitor, you've confirmed a poorly-seated or defective LVDS cable or a defective laptop display.

You'll need to send 'er back to ASUS to get properly repaired. This time, PM cl-scott, the ASUS Customer Loyalty rep on this forum, with your RMA information, so he can help make sure your laptop is properly diagnosed.
