last ditch effort: how to verify my gfx card is dead, and not something else

i installed a fresh copy of win 7 on my G75 (best buy version) to try to alleviate the problem of my GFX card not being recognized. obviously trying nvidia drivers doesnt work. installing new chipset drivers didnt work.

now before i have to send this off to Asus for them to fix, is there anything else i should try to get this GFX card recognized and working? any tests i should run, other things to try to install, etc?

Enter the BIOS, restore defaults, then Save & Exit. If that fails, confirm you have a BIOS file in the root of C:, and press the CTRL-HOME key combination at startup to recover the BIOS.

have you tried to disable fast boot in bios? you might need to disable the fast startup option in the active power plan.

i couldn't figure anything out of your issues :/

i think you send back to ASUS Service Center would be better, why your gfx card can not be recognizing, what do you do for laptop?
