I was wondering if anyone knew how difficult/expensive a fix it would be to repair/replace the mousepad on my g74sx. the mousebuttons are barely usable at this point. And while it's not usualy a big deal since I use a mouse alot, I don't -always- use one. Thanks in Advance.

I will warn you it is hard to undo the clips on the keyboard and you risk uglyfying it. But this youtube guide should help:

also type "g73 trackpad" in ebay or google shopping if you need the repair part.

I would try a can of air and really jam the straw in the slit around the buttons. This might loosen dust in between your button contacts.

I see no purpose in maintaining the mouse becasue you have a gaming laptop and good gaming requires an external mouse anyways. I use the "Epic Naga" from Razer. I havent gotten used to using the hotkeys , but it has beautiful lightshow built into it and is precise when I zerg rush in Starcraft II.
