Hi,

I have installed the Turboboost thing from the driver disk after removing it a while ago.

However, nothing seems to happen. When I press the turboboost button nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Might be some missunderstanding there.
Turboboost is an Intel i5/i7 feature that allows automatic overclocking within certain limits. You dont have to press anything to have it working.

On my G53JW, pressing the "turbo button" cycles between the Power4Gear power saving modes, but to actually achieve that you need to have atk package and Power4Gear both installed.

I have the ATK package and Power2Gear on as well.

In the G73 Driver Series and Application sticky it says ATK "plus Power4Gear Hybrid enables Twin Turbo Button with animation"

This is what I mean: previously pressing the button got the animation etc but now.. nothing!

Try downloading and installing the latest version from the Asus website. That may resolve your issue.

I would update the ATK to 1.0.0008

yep, sorted.

I had the latest ATK package on already, but for some reason uninstalling it and reinstalling it seemed to do the trick.

Thanks.
