Hi, guys. Really need your help. I'm on a G55V.
My keyboard started acting really ****ing weird recently.

One problem is when I lower the volume with f11, I would also lower the brightness of the keyboard backlight.

The second one is the one that really gets on my ****ing nerves.
Some letters on the keyboard trigger the find box (ctrl + F) in the browser. You can only imagine how painful it was to type this.
It also happens on the desktop, the search box popping up.

So, hopefully someone knows the problem!
Thanks!!

Since you report it's a recent problem, I recommend using Windows System Restore to restore your system back to the time when the keyboard functioned correctly. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore.

Tried your suggestion and it works, thanks! But I'll keep an eye on it because there was one time the problem just disappeared and reappeared.
Thanks for the help.
