I've gone through 2 G75's with 660M's so far, and that's all it took. They both worked flawlessly, except for the results when overclocking the 660M's differed.

My 1st one couldn't budge past much more than 1155Mhz on the core, any higher or lower above 1100's it would artifact and BSOD. The max temperature I recorded was 63C. 99% GPU load during most games. ASIC Quality was 79.6%

My 2nd one can go high into the 1200's on the core but it will after 10-15 minutes give me a black screen (needs more voltage) No artifacts or BSOD have ever appeared with this one. The max temperature I recorded was 73C. 99% GPU load during most games. ASIC Quality 62.9% (might explain the higher temperature)

There may not be a correlation between just the two %'s, but the results seem to steer toward it being favored.

What's your ASIC Quality % to OC's?

My 660M ASIC is 72%. 1050mhz core, 2700mhz mem is about the sweet spot for gaming for me, assuming no other components or Windows issues causing instability (AFAIK).

On benchmark eg. Uniengine it can go to 1150mhz core, 2800mhz+ mem.

Folding even with Firefox I can push it to 1100mhz core, but this gets risky, web browsing and different apps can cause instability when OC'ing GPU, I find.

My ASIC is around 72%, not really sure...will check when I get home...but I'm doing 1200 core, 2895 mem, as of everyday use ( when gaming of course).Played BF3 for a few hours, max temp was 65C...I can go past 1200, maybe around the high 200s, but wouldn't use the limit as for everyday use.

@srmojuze, by sweet spot you mean your max, or where you are comfortable? You should certainly be able to go+135 over the core without even trying...not even 1100 should be a problem on this card and on this computer...

Looks like 365+ over stock clocks is easily achievable, falling within 61-73%

Sweet spot means "comfortable"... eg. 1050mhz for Hawken (though there could be other factors affecting stability).

Max is about 1200mhz. My VRAM seems to be very sensitive during gaming, though in Uniengine I can push it to 2800mhz+.

Ambient temperatures are about 26degC though, so that could have something to do with it.

670MX:
84% ASIC quality - maximum allowed overclock settings by the bios (+135/+500) work nice. Overclocked temps: 37-39 C idle, 60-64 C under high load. games.

OK just did a good session of Hawken at 1100mhz core, 2700mhz mem. Unbelievable to me, still.
