Just wanted to share with you my last discovery :

I was just a simple VGA driver update addict and as a G75vx owner, I was confused not being able to find a proper compatible driver to work with my geforce 670MX... I didn't want to use the .inf trick and I was stuck to the old 307.x nvidia (asus) driver.... Nothing on the driver download page for my specific notebook, till I tried downloading the driver on this general Asus driver download page :

http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=VGA&p=3&s=111&os=30&hashedid=n%2fa

I found that there were a 310.83 driver that installed without any problem...

Thanks to ootld999 (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?28528-Games-that-don-t-work-on-g75vx-win8&p=218030) and samozen (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?28517-Nvidia-310.83-64bit-from-Asus) who put me on the right way...
Hope it will help...
I'll update this thread if I encounter any problem with this driver...

I played several hours on Starcraft II with this driver and everything's fine even with max oc (+135 / +1000 Afterburner)
By the way, the Kepler GTX 670MX is a really good gpu iMHO...

Even if it's always recommended to uninstall previous drivers, you can install this one over the older and check the: "new installation" option during the install if you want to reset your old parameters.

you should download the drivers from here:
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&s=388&m=G75VX&os=&hashedid=UgUoqhOZ5INGuDIu

So there is no 310.83.

I'm guessing you don't have a 670MX gpu.
