Been gaming and just taken a look at the air flow at the back of the laptop (g73), on the right vent (looking towards the monitor) im getting good airflow, lots a hot air coming out :), while in the left i don't seem to be getting any, is this normal?

I'd also like to know which vent is for which component (cpu or gpu) and also, what are the safe operating temps for both as well.

Any help will be appreciated.

The left vent is for the CPU...the right is for the GPU...the Gpu tends to run hotter even on idle so you will get more venting out of the right side...temps intel says the i7 can go up to 100c before you run into problems...the GPU nVidia claims that 460m can run on 105c and still stable, but never specified the max...

Sounds normal, as each fan is dedicated to one component, and is regulated independently.
