Been posted already, but thanks anyways :P...BTW if you OC your GTX660m past the 135+, by forcing PStates, do not update to these latest beta drivers, as they will not let you do it...just wait for a new one, or the WHQL to come out...

It's a very good thing that you can't overclock it too much ! :D

They said on Nvidia website that it is working with GTX 670mx (for G75VX) and I can confirm that it doesn't, seriously.. I hope that laptopvideo2go community is going to release one of their useful INF.

What do you mean it doesn't work?

It doesn't work on 670MX because of optimus crap.

There is a new super special secret version of Optimus the official Nvidia driver can't support:
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?26670-Nvidia-Driver-for-G75VX... (see MarshallR@ASUS at Post #16) (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?26670-Nvidia-Driver-for-G75VX...)

Will this give any boost on GTX670M while playing BF3?

There is no special version of Optimus that Nvidia can not support in their official drivers simply because Optimus is Nvidia property and technology.

There is no Optimus on the VX. I own one as well. MarshallR@ASUS probably got confused with some other model in the thread posted above. I was the one asking the question about Optimus in that thread. It was never answered.

Optimus works by enabling switchable graphic. If you check your VX you will notice that GTX 670MX is always on and idling at GPU 135/ Memory 324. Switchable means that GTX 670 is off in idle periods or when running 2D applications and HD4000 is taking its place.
