My g75vx came with preinstalled 8 gb, which is perhaps under the keyboard in configuration of 4 GB x 2 and will void the warrenty if i will try to replace it. So my question is can i put two 8 GB modules to increase my RAM upto 24 GB, or it has to be only 4 GB moudles? I want to increase RAM because i am planning to make the RAMdisk out of excess memory.

@Drqaisar411, yes, you can. check out this thread (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?23929-Adding-RAM-to-G75) to determine your stock ram.

previously i used 2x8gb of kingston. a perfect match for the stock ram i should say.

Thanks Rewben, I am exactly planning to buy Kingston valueram 1600MHz nonECC RAM, according to Kingston's website it should be compatible with my laptop. Now i just have to check my stock ram when i will back at home :)
