Hi,
I have a G75VX and it came with Nvidia 3D glasses.
But i'm wondering how to watch a 3D Movie.

I have Downloaded and installed the following softwares
NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player
CyberLink PowerDVD 12
K-Lite Codec

I powered on my glasses and did try to watch a 3D movie with CyberLink PowerDVD 12.
But cyberlink keeps saying that i have to try a diffrent monitor to watch 3D
I was also able to make some setting to watch a sbs movie, i powered on the glasses but nothing changes.

any idea ?

try this http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?23810-view-3d-movies-on-g75vw-ds73&p=167717#post167717

in NVIDIA Control Panel -> Stereoscopic 3D -> Set up stereoscopic 3D select "Enable stereoscopic 3D" and Stereoscopic 3D display type must be "ASUS Notebook 3D Vision"

If you want the true Imax experience at home in ur room on ur g75 go and download some blu-ray 3d movies and use this guide to get it up and running.. There is no better way to experience full 3d 1080p movies

The Nvidia 3d vision video player is ok but doesnt allow alot of formats such as mkv.. Stereoscopic Player does a much better job..

Hi everyone, i just got two 3D BR documentaries hoping to see some nice underwater stuff on 3d. But so far ive been disappointed with my G75VX, can anyone tell me which is the best setting and software to watch 3D BR movies on the laptop. Thanks, I got remember me because it was 3D vision ready but so far the 3D experience has not been that great.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and i know this is a little offtrack but, can someone please direct me to where I can find information to fix the shutdown issues on windows 8. Ive turned off fastboot but the problem is still persisting.
My setup is with the 256SSD and 1TB HDD with the OS on the SSD.

Thanks again for all your help
