Hello, yesterday i reinstalled my computer a fresh copy of win 7 ultimate.. and now i am playing world of worldcraft and the gpu temperature is about 65-68c , but the gpu fan rpm ramps up to like 3444rpm, and thats max.. and it shouldent go on max on that kinda temperature, it shud only go on max if you do like furmark benchmark.

It never ramped up that much before i reinstalled computer, is it any special driver that controlls this that i havent updated or what shall i do? Is it COMPLETLY controlled automaticly?

I believe fan speeds are controlled by a thermal profile in the BIOS. I could've sworn I've seen some report maximum fan speeds for the G75 as 5200-5400 RPM. I guess that was for a G73 laptop. At any rate, the GPU fan speed you report is consistent with that reported by @Cecil_2099 in http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/669939-asus-g75-rog-modding-tuning-clocks-temps-etc-4-print.html.

Okey but is it normal that gpu rpm fan speed is at 3450 rpm when temp is about 67c?

I believe so. See the referenced thread in my previous post.

I would say that is normal also, I'd have to check my laptop on what it does in the same senario but it sounds right.

Mine gets to 3400+ RPM within 70-73C temperatures. I agree with the rest, it's functioning exactly as intended.

But mines goes to 3400+ at 67+c temperature.??

That's why I mentioned "within 70.." as the fan is operating optimally in this range : 65-70+

now 63c and at 2800rpm, wich is pretty queit, but 3400+rpm is pretty loud, i would like it to go at max 2800rpm. They should make a fan controller program.. and i think 3400+rpm is not necessary at 67c.

Now it was at 3600rpm, at like 71c... thats wierd...seems abit high. Any drivers/program to reinstall to make it go lower?
