Furmark
1904

Note: I didn't have to use any throttle disabling to run the benches or Furmark, unlike the G73SW, which Furmark needed. Also, still 65C after 40 min of Furmark.

I'll be redoing the benches when I drop in the 1866 RAM.

On stock my G73sw-3DE gets

3D Mark Vantage P8994

3D Mark 11 P1987

So its not big of a difference right? There is nothing the G74sx gane do thta the G73sw cant...

I mean the G73JH ATi Mobility 5870 still scores better on GPU segment and They said you wont realy tell the difference in Real World performace when the nVidia GTX 460m replaced it later on with the G73JW...

not too much different on stock clocks, but when you overclock, you really see the differences. Also, I find the GF116 runs cooler overall. Furmark @ 945/1683 = 69C. If these things were voltage unlocked... woohoo!

So how far can you overclock the GTX 460m compared to the GTX 560m

If you read my G73SW-A1 review, you would know this. :) I got the 460m up to 874/1674, tho for actual gaming, I would back her down to about 840-850 depending on title.

Here's a comparo of the results: (note the g73sw had the 1866 RAM at the time)
