Yes. Bluetooth 4.0 and it uses the real thunderbolt. I tested it with a thunderbolt HDD as well as a thunderbolt EGPU.

Really? I have the Best Buy version, the G75VW-BHI7N07, and was disappointed to find a mini display out while no Thunderbolt icon next to it. So I assumed it did not have Thunderbolt capabilities. I have yet to discover Bluetooth.

How can you use the Bluetooth in that case? I don't see any software for it on mine.

I bought mine on the 10th. Like stated above, Best Buy listed it as having no Bluetooth. Mine is the GV75Vx-BHI7N11. It ended up having Bluetooth and a Thunderbolt port. I found my settings for it on the taskbar under the Show Hidden Icons arrow.

You own the VW model, not the VX model_ The newer VX has thunderbolt and I know it comes with Bluetooth_ Check your devices in Device manager_ if there is no bluetooth in your device manager than you do not have bluetooth.

I know some of the VW Models carry thunderbolt but not all, but do check if you have the little thunderbolt sticker or symbol by the port, if not then you do not have thunderbolt. By the way, you really don't need thunderbolt, not a lot of devices use it yet_ I think its sorta like the firewire port that apple came out with a while back. No one really used it and now its no longer implemented in laptops or desktops.

Oh god dangit. Now my computer doesn't seem as awesome anymore. You'd think 1400 USD would get you thunderbolt and bluetooth. Whatever asus be trippin' *ragequits*

The VX is the latest version, updated. imho Asus is not 'trippin' they are listening and delivering.

I bought mine really recently. I just had it replaced for audio issues and pretty sure I can send it back. But they only had the VW when I was there.

Edit: Dang yeah I may be able to return this thing. Would I be good with this one?

Edit 2: Cool, I got it returned. Now I can get the better one.

Confirmed. I finally made my way to a BB here in Mountain View, CA (Silicon Valley as outsiders might say) and yes, the G75VX has the bluetooth and thunderbolt. But, it's too late for me, I already bought a G55 w/thunderbolt at Fry's Electronics (which does not have the G75VX). Not much of a loss though, just got to get to that mSATA port, ugh.

Kind regards,
