Hello,

I have a G73SW with a Realtek PCIe Ethernet card that appears to be going bad. About half the time I try to use it, it's not working, and I have to restart it to get it work work. No link light, etc. Diags say to check the cable, but it's not that.

I was just wondering if it's part of the motherboard, or if it's replaceable.

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks fro your help, Mike!

So I can get any PCIe lan card and it will fit in the laptop?

Thanks again,

Mark

Well, now that I look at them, I see that there's lots of different sizes, so is the Realtek that comes in it the only one that will fit?

No, that's ok - I'll just bag the RJ-45 and use WiFi exclusively, if it comes to that...

Thanks again...
