Hi,

I have an a G75VW that I've owned for the last 8-10 months, and within the last 2-3 months, I downloaded the ASUS Live Update utility for the machine. I updated the BIOS to the latest version at the time (I believe it was 222), and added a few other utilities. Ever since then, the computer randomly boots into recovery mode (and has created it's own recovery partition, without my instruction).

I can restart the machine, boot into BIOS and change the boot priority from "Windows Boot Manager" to my system drive, and it works just fine. Then a few days later, it boots into recovery. It happens completely at random, every few days. I tried contacting ASUS support, only to have them tell me to RMA the laptop (overreact much?)

Anybody else have this issue? Any suggestions? I've attached some pics to help illustrate my issue.

Thanks for any help,
Aaron

when you update the BIOS, did you into BIOS to set default, also asus support have 223 version BIOS, you can update with ezflash in BIOS.
