Hello!

I've seen many posts re: Ram, but have not come across this exact issue. I just bought the G75vx (BHI7N11) from Best Buy. It has 4 dimm slots and specs/manufacture say it can run up to 32gb. As long as I match all other parameters (11-11-11-28 (DDR3 PC3-12800 SODIMM 1600mhz CL11 1.5V RAM).) is there any reason I can't put 2x8gb in the two "user" accessible slots? Also, I found modules that match all paramaters, except timing is 11-11-11; it does not have -28 at the end--will that be a problem?

Thanks!

As long as the rated timings and voltage are the same you should be fine.

yep, is it base on spec, i think it is ok to use and able to mix.
