Honestly? I would only update if there is something to be gained from doing so....

I'm gonna wait personally to see if others are able to test and confirm any noticeable differences between 204 or 205.

New bios size is 2.97mb and every other one is 2.95mb. Pass no thanks Asus you keep your extra line of buggy code.

If you don't have the issue they say is fixed you wont see a improvement as they would note any thing that improves performance like adjusted fan curves.

But i love how they just do stuff all 1/2 way lol. I mean Version 203 is bios 203. Version 204 is bios 204. Version 205 is bios 206. What happen to bios 205 or do you just not like the number 205 so you skipped it? I mean i look at small stuff like that as this is not a driver its a bios and one bit off can mean the diff. between a system that works and a $1,300 paper weight.

I would love to see the numbers on how many people brick their laptops with each bios update released. That bios flashing from Windows....

BIOS 206
Fix the bug that function hotkey Fn+F8 is workable (should be function-less) in setup menu when CSM disable.

206 sports new VGA bios. It is larger than the one contained in the previous versions of BIOS.

Your right, they upgraded the GPU vBIOS to a different version_ From version: 80.04.60.10 to 80.04.97.13_ must have updated something in the vBIOS

205 was taken down due to some graphic artifacts, they must've named this 206 to avoid confusing it with the 205 bios.

GOP UEFI for Win8 fast boot is probably implemented properly in the latest 206 Vbios although there should have been a confirmation for that.

Anyway I think that users that already upgraded to 206 can provide feedback whether fast boot works for them.

you must download the proper installing program (Windows BIOS Flash Utility), search it from the list http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=G75VX&p=3&s=388&os=41&hashedid=UgUoqhOZ5INGuDIu
