First sorry for my english, i am new here.

I am from Costa Rica, and i want to buy a new laptop but i have like $1200, so i have this idea:

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800)

Seagate 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive SATA 6Gbps 64MB Cache 2.5-Inch

So my idea is open the user accesible slot, change de HDD and add the two modules of memory.

If you have any advice plz go ahead

Other point its i need to buy this laptop in US store, that accept Visa International, and shipping in US.
Because my brother in law will stay in california some weeks so i can send to his address.

Someone can tell me some stores that are resellers? or my only option is Amazon?

Thx for you time.

Welcome to the forums perroloco

First of all your choice of hardware upgrades are good however I would go with cheaper ram because you won't benefit from the extra speed the vengeance RAM offers as it will run at the same speed as the other two modules which are slower. So you may want to look for some cheaper RAM, however, this vengeance will still work well. You will be able to upgrade the two modules and hard drive without voiding your warranty. Just remember when upgrading the hard drive though that you may want to make sure that you have a copy of Windows so that you can install it on the new hard drive. It might also be possible to clone the current windows that came pre-installed on the stock hard drive but it's better to install a fresh copy. You can just download the copy of windows and use the key that your machine came with, no need to buy windows again.

You can also purchase the laptop from websites such as Newegg or eBay if you are getting it shipped to the US.

I recommend when first purchasing configure the laptop to have 16 gb RAM out-of-the-box, because it is very hard and warranty-violating to access 2 of the 4 slots of RAM.

I read, that you can access in the back, 2 memory slots and the Hdd slot, and add memory or change hdd, and keep warranty.

I am looking stores and options so i find this:

Are one of this autorized?
someone can recommend any of this stores?
