What the best cooling pad for G75? or do you even need one?

no you don't need this. it has no significant effect actually.

Cooling pads blow air on the bottom, but the G75 doesn't have intakes there so I'm not sure how it would help anything.

Well it would keep the buttom slightly cooler, but should not be needed at all.

I used a "Cooler Master U3" for my ASUS N53SV 15.6" and that diffently made a HUGE difference - Even without the fans plugged in.

But ye, the G-series should have no problem keeping themself cool :)

No cooling pads needed. Like the posts stated above, your vents are in the rear of the laptop. Using a cooling pad is not going to do much at all for you. If it had more open vents on the bottom, I would say go for it. But it does not.

My G51 survived because of a cooling pad. With these models, though, I don't think one would be useful. My temps stay near 60 C under load (40 C for GPU), and it doesn't really have intakes near the bottom anyway. The sort that takes hot air away from the bottom might help, I've seen a few like that, but IDK if it's necessary for these ones.
