Exactly. What is their return policy ?? This shouldn't be a problem .. well, depending on Where.

No crying. It voids the warranty. [j/k] Seriously. Pack it up and head down there.
What do you have to loose ??? Have they a NO Return Policy ??? I kinda doubt it.c.

Yes, sorry to bare you the bad news, but I figured I would say something. Pack up everything like new and try to return it. See if they have the G75vx and exchange it. This is why I do days of research before buying anything like this. The only reason I wen't with the G55 over the G75 is because I take it to all of my IT classes in College.

@mylaptopsupport, ah.. tell me about it. i had no knowledge of the existence of g75 when i bought g55 :/

try to talk sense out of the retailer that you bought it from. i think they would help (be optimistic; there's still hope with humanity).

Yes, you may not of known about the G75 when you bought your G55, BUT... how mad would you have been buying that fermi 670, only for them to release that Keplar 670mx?

That is what makes me even happier about buying my G55. There was no G75vx when I bought my G55. So either way it would of burned my A$$. LOL Also, I only play a few specific games, which I can play on my G55 at max settings no problems. So it does everything I need and nicely.

my 'problem' is that this is a 3d version of g55. i cannot go higher than 1366x768. i know the remedy is to buy another external monitor, but you don't wanna carry that when you're on the road, right?

don't get me wrong, i just blame myself for not doing enough research before purchase. this g55 works fine (the screen is OK, just the too-tiny resolution; i use recon3d and headset for sound; and after almost a year i bought it, the temperature of CPU has reached 94C when i play games for hours; it's just time to tear it down for thermal paste replacement and a proper vent cleanup)

i could get a g75vx, but it's March now; it's just a few months away from the supposed new cycle of product releases.

Most retailers have at least 14 days - 21 days return policy for electronics, you may have to pay a "restock fee".
Look on the back of your receipt for details on the store returns policy.
You can ask for an "exchange" for the G75VX, they may even waver the restock fee if you exchange.

Good luck!!!!
