My ASUS G46VW came with windows 8 but I didn't like it, so i decided to install Windows 7 Ultimate. But after installing the OS, I can't do anything like download updates because no network adapter is detected. Kind of weird, what do I do?

Not quite sure where, I tried https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/G46VW/#support_Download_8 but this didn't fix it.

Use the Windows 8 Drivers, most of them will be compatible with 7 anyway

It didn't work, I did automatically scan for hardware and it didn't show a driver compatible. I've tried a lot of things from asus support but it still doesn't fix it. Oh and I forgot to mention, the keyboard backlight doesn't turn on either.

#Edit - Got the wireless working. What about the keyboard backlight?

Install the ASUS ATK Package and Reboot. Then press Fn+F4 after Login.

Thanks. So I'm guessing that's all, besides windows update and graphic drivers for now.
