New here, just bought the g46, my first gaming laptop, and was wondering what driver everyone was using for the 660m? Also it only scores a 5.8 on the WEI?

Thanks,
Erik

you can go to nvidia site and choose drivers. and have it auto detect.

i think most of people here are using the latest nvidia driver 320

Newest WHQL drivers here as well. As for the WEI score, it is a Windows 8 limitation that it only uses the dedicated graphics vs discrete NVidia card if dual graphics are present on the laptop. So your desktop and gaming WEI scores are both from the Intel graphics.

Erik2313, WEI is determined by your "slowest" piece of tested hardware which in the case of my G75 VX was the HD @ a score of 5.9. I swapped it out for a SSD and my score went to 7.8 ;)

Guys, have you heard the news on the net regarding the 320.18 drivers damaging GPU's? there are proofs on that, after reading that i switch back to 314 for the mean time

My WEI score for the gpu is 6.9. Didn't change after 320.18 update.

I had the 320 drivers for about two hours. I experienced multiple lockups in that time. Switched back to 314 after that.

Well, after I realised that I couldn't use the discrete card for WEI, I was kind of disappointed, so it SHOULDN'T have made a difference to the score. But the 320.18 drivers have been causing no problems for me, as opposed to the horror stories of the driver killing GPUs and extreme artifacts in games.
