View Full Version : GPU overheating?

I got my Notebook (G75VX) back two month ango back from the ASUS-Repair Service. The Service replaced my audio output and the CPU because it didn't pass the final heating test. Since i got my notebook back (after 2 moth repair) i get massive FPS drops in several games especially in Diablo III. I noticed that the GPU temperature reaches over 92C when the stuttering ingame appears.

Now the question is: Are the high temperatures causing this issue?

More Information:

Temperature (Idle): 65-70C
Roomtemperature: 17-19C

-nothing overclocked
-windows8 64-bit (asus preinstalled)
-fanfilter clean (checked today)

please help me to figure out what i have to do to solve this prolem :/

yea those idle temps are high, you should locate a CL-Asus Guy for your location? To get some assistance insuring that your notebook gets everything fixed this time!!! CL-Albert works this forum, and he may be able to get you in contact with someone in the country that you'll have to send it in to. I suggest you PM cl-albert.

My Idle temps 39C
Ambient Temp 25 C
Running Furmark at full 1080 full screen only gets me up to 85C after a 15 min run.

Idling at 65-70?

My room temp is currently 22, and my gpu is idling at 38.

Yeah, it needs to be sent back again. :(

Room temp. is 23-24C. My 660M idles about 37C, only gets to 70C running FurMark's 1920x1080 burn-in test. O/Ced with Afterburner(+135, +400) it only gets to 77C. Yeah you got problems dude, sorry and g/l.
