Hello!

2 Days ago I have bought the ASUS G73S notebook.
I am really satisfied with it, but I was wondering why I can only choose "60hz" in the display options. I want to use 120hz for 3D.

Anyone had this problem too?

Best regards

Might be because you didnt buy a modell with a 120hz screen?
Thats what I think anyway.

Shouldnt it be set to 120hz by default or something?

I bought the one with NVIDIA® 3D Vision™-Technology, so I think it should have 120hz.

Even on the notebook is a sticker with the "3D Vision-Technology" ^^

If you have a 3DE model, you can open up the NVIDIA Control App, and on the resolution section, scroll down to the PC settings (not HD/SD) and select 1920 x 1080. You'll then get your 120Hz option.

There is no 120hz option.
Maybe I have to install the display driver new?

From what I can see on the internet and the resellers, that model does not come with a 120Hz panel. I also see no mention of it including the NVIDA shutter glasses, which all 3DE models come with. You can still do 3D on a 3D TV with USB emitter / shutter glasses over HDMI. You can also do 3D on the laptop screen, but your gaming will be maxed at 30 fps.
