you can install asus utility asus fan filter, this utility will tell you when you need clean.

Yeah it's really easy. Literally two screws. Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9KHrJKInmA) is a nice clean teardown guide if you need to replace anything or add stuff.
