Hi guys, i ve got problem with my keyboard backlight on asus G75VW. It usualy does not work, only sometimes it randomly turns on (and yes, fn keys related with backlight are working then) for a short time(5-10s) and then again turns off. Firstly i thought its a W8 problem, but recently i have installed dual boot W8 with Fedora 17 and same thing happens there... Do you think its hardware problem?(Disconnected cable ...) I cant open it myself because product is still in warranty so what do u recommend me to do?
Thanks for your responses :) (and sorry for some grammar mistakes im not from english speaking country)

Uhm is it possible that a BIOS update can fix this?

I heard 1 time that somebody had to update an Bios to get his backlight back.

Maybe I’m wrong somebody can confirm this?

I think about same problem, that its bios problem because ->
yesterday the kb backlight started to work for about 10 minutes and i tried to shake whole notebook, everything was working fine, i tried to reboot to windows even to linux fedora and again everything was working fine and until about 10 minutes when it suddenly stopped :/.
But problem is that i ve got latest BIOS 223 and u cannot downgrade BIOS :( or?
// btw i reinstalled ATK package almost million times :/ it doesnt work
