Hello, i am wondering if you can use Nvidia Inspector to raise the clock speed of the GTX 765m in the G750JW on battery. I was playing around with it earlier, and i could raise the clock speed on battery, but the Current clock speed wouldn't raise at all.

Thanks

You really can't. The issue is the current draw on battery (which can't source as much current as the transformer). To solve this problem, plug your computer in. Otherwise, over-drawing the battery causes risks of fire and explosion. They are current-limited for your safety.

Ok thanks, i noticed when i was using Nvidia Inspector the voltage bar was grayed out on battery, so you couldn't change the voltage.

No problem. That's part of the issue. Voltage and current are related. Changing the voltage up could have serious consequences on the battery, so it is disabled.

Hey guys, speaking of battery... I just have a quick question.

My G750's battery, whether plugged into the charge cable or not, doesn't charge or lose batterly below 84%... I do not understand this. If someone could give me an explanation as to why I would greatly appreciate it!

Your screen has frozen, reboot :)

There is no way your machine is stuck at 84% battery, unplugged / plugged in. The software showing the level has stopped updating.

Just a heads up. by using ASUS GPU Tweak (Win7 since Win8 one has issues) Enables you to overclock the Voltage. although I wouldn't recommend you to do so because it doesn't enable for a highter core clock or mem. it is there to have it set for a custom OC when GPU Boost 2.0 is executed (boost core clock depending on the demanding game it, it will auto overclock the core for you for reasonable FPS and heat output) Point is, with a Unlocked Bios. This can be usable to over clock voltage instead of using a Unlocked v-bios. thus saving time for reflashing or building the custom BIOS needed to unlock the g750 Hidden super uber magic powers
