Hi everyone, i just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my G750JW. When i tried to install my wifi driver, it said the operating system is unsupported. I think the card is a BCM43xx. Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

It didn't work. I started the installer, and it just disappeared.

I went to device manager, and it says unknown network adapter. I tried to update the driver and it said driver not found.

In device manager it just says unknown network adapter. I hope the Asus Drivers team fixes those links soon.

Ugh, that one doesn't even open. I click it and nothing happens. I might just upgrade back up to Windows 8.

Haha, i'll stay a little longer. I can download the file, but the setup doesn't open in windows 7. I am downloading another driver to try it.

I found the right driver (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/PCE-AC66/DR_PCE_AC66_6309526_Win7.zip)! Just go to device manager and point it to the folder that file is in. Windows 7 on my G750JW

You should put in the links to the actual drivers (with device names) and then this thread should be stickied.

I'll wait for the final Windows 8.1 (which really should be just SP1) and if it's as poorly done as Windows 8, I'll go back to Windows 7.

I have an ASUS G20CB-NR118T - i7 - GTX 1080 - 32GB - 256GB - SSD.

I hate Windows 8-10, so I decided to change to Windows 7. I spent all day yesterday and 2 hours today trying to get the wifi to work and finally worked it out.

1. Go to Device Manager
2. Network Controller
3. Right click and choose Properties -> Details -> Hardware Ids
4. You'll see something like "PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8821..."
5. Remember 10EC (vendor ID) and 8821 (device ID)
6. Go to http://pcidatabase.com/
7. Put in "2482" in "Vendor Search" and click search
8. Select the right vendor ID (0x10EC)
9. Go to https://drp.su/en/catalog
10. Search for realtek 8821
11. Download the driver and install. (Mine was Realtek 8821AE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC) (https://drp.su/en/hwids/PCI%5CVEN_10EC%26DEV_8821%26SUBSYS_85B41043?os=win dows-7-x64)
