jello everyone. first post, for obvious reasons.

today I was playing neverwinter and my laptop overheated/shut down. not that uncommon, but normally I can just wait a while and turn it back on. however, this time the screen stays black and the keyboard lights up...but that's all. I've tried forcibly rebooting it from this state but I can't. I'm not too fluent in computers so I don't really know the issue. if the graphics card is fried, is it possible to replace it?

please connect with other monitor, if can be posting, i think your LCD have amage, you can choose connect to other monitor, send to computer store or asus service center to repair, because i think your warranty is void, right.

I tried that, sadly. no sound from the laptop or image on the monitor.

Remove the harddrive(s), remove the battery, remove the power supply.

Hold the power button for about 5 seconds.

Reinstall power adapter and try booting up.

Let me know what happens.

remove all RAM, insert just 1 in the slot and repeat process with the remaining RAM sticks..
