Grey Horizon.

The vision:

A Balance between size and power while maintaining an industrial and neutral look.

I been through all kinds of builds - All with a common nominator: Shiny - Sparkling - Over-the-top.

LED - UV - Crazy colors ... You name it.

This time its back to the basics - Back to the grey, chrome and simple look - Nothing fancy taking away the attention that been put into making my greatest build so far.

Ingredients:

Caselabs S3 with Pedestal - All in the Dark Grey matte color.

3 X Alphacool UT60 radiators, with Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans - Yes, that color - Mmmmmm.

Chrome Monsoon fittings with black accent disks - Onyx Black tubing - FrozenQ PC Mods Reactor Core Reservoir - Pure distilled water - Swiftech MCP35X2 - Custom sleeving.

4770K - De-lidded and cooled Bare-die with the help of EK and their mounting for Ivy/Haswell Bare-die / Coollaboratory and Fujipoly Ultra Extreme for that ultimate feeling.

HD7990 with the EK FCS-10000 waterblock - Sleek and simple.

G.SKILL TridentX 2666Mhz and the new ASUS ROG IMPACT delivers the few red splashes that are allowed in the build - To stand in stark contrast with the rest of the build.

Pure white lightning - To bring it all out - Make it pop - Draw attention to that tiny system that blends in.

When going down the road and having to choose a GPU I really only had one choice - Go for the GPU supplying me with the most muscle - The Mitx formfactor only allows for a single GPU.

Now, I always been an absolute sucker for the underdog and things not mainstream - So the choice was pretty clear - The HD7990.

As for the waterblock, the EK FCS-10000 simply had me from the first time I laid my eyes upon it - It goes well with my "Grey and neutral" look and appeals to me and the final vision I have of the entire build.
