Today I got a G75VX and I wanted to do a fresh clean install of Windows 8 Pro (It came with Windows 8 Standard) on 2 drives set in RAID 0, I booted the laptop in to Windows 8 Setup and it came up and asked me for drivers for a media device (I'm assuming it's the RAID driver), and I cannot find anything about a Windows 8 RAID driver on the drivers page, can anyone point me in the proper direction.

Thank you.

Edit: Found a working driver:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=X50R1

It's from dell but it worked.

download from asus support site and type G75VX -> download page -> others -> IRST driver.

download from asus support site and type G75VX -> download page -> others -> IRST driver.

The drivers on the ASUS site do NOT include the Windows 8 F6 driver, which is where I was having an issue and posted on here. Hence "and I cannot find anything about a Windows 8 RAID driver on the drivers page"

Thank you for the response though.

The Intel IRST drivers are the RAID drivers, you should not need the F6 Drivers unless you are installing to a RAID ARRAY, here is a link to the Intel IRST drivers (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/search.html?keyword=IRST+Drivers), hope this helps? If you are installing to a RAID ARRAY you should know which drivers to download. If your not installing to a RAID ARRAY, you should not need any F6 drivers!! You must have checked a wrong box some where in the set up to install?
